Ask Jeremy Taylor-Riley, who has worked in various large advertising companies in Jordan for three years.
One of his most treasured memories is cycling 87km around the Sea of Galilee, where he lunched with a friend on loaves and fishes.
Now living back in his Cremorne apartment with his wife, who is pregnant, the couple has decided to move to a place with a garden.
“We might move back to Jordan; the alternative is to move near my family in Queensland,’’ Jeremy said.
“This has been my place of tranquillity.
“We wake every morning to the harbour and the ocean; I’ll miss seeing that every morning, and the greenery of Primrose Park.’‘
Jeremy has been giving tips to his real estate agent Fran Turner, of Croll First National Real Estate, about her proposed trip to Jordan.
In the meantime, she’s marketing Jeremy’s two bedroom, one bathroom property with water views, which is on the market for $710,000.

MICROSOFT’s Shuk Chan is returning to his native Hong Kong together with his wife and his collie dog.
He bought his Belmont Rd, Mosman, home in 1996 and since then he has partially renovated it.
The upgrade has included a repaint, and the addition of solar blinds and airconditioning.
“There are lots of windows, and we like the sun in the north-facing backyard,’’ Shuk said.
“I work in North Ryde and it only takes me 15 minutes to get there via the Lane Cove Tunnel.’‘
Being an IT enthusiast, Shuk has had broadband and Foxtel cabling installed, as well as plenty of telephone outlets.
He’ll miss the sizeable garden of about 270sqm when he returns to a Hong Kong apartment.
The property has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an undercover carport.
